DAMM and Alcon join forces to secure GRU Airport in São Paulo, Brazil

DAMM’s communication solution secures safety and efficiency in São Paulo Guarulhos International Airport

DAMM’s communication solution for São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport in Brazil—consisting of a fully redundant DAMM TetraFlex® Indoor High Power 7 carrier system—secures passenger safety and improves efficiency. The network serves airline customers such as LATAM and Qatar Airways.

The DAMM TetraFlex system offers a secure and reliable  voice and data system, which enables airports to efficiently respond to any potential danger. Offering features like DGNA (Dynamic Group Number Assignment) it is easy to create dynamic work groups used for APRON services such as luggage handling, jet fueling and catering.

The new IP-based, decentralized network was designed, installed and commissioned by local DAMM System Partner ALCON Engenharia. Gilberto Koza, CEO of Alcon states:  “We have joined forces with DAMM to deliver the most secure, reliable and flexible solution. In addition the open API offers easy integration of 3rd party applications, like the Siemens Dispatcher solution, was key to the GRU Airport in Brazil.”
