With the continuing evolution of critical voice and data communication the TETRA & Critical Communications Association 
(TCCA) commissioned a report to compare the relative merits of TETRA, LTE, and other broadband technologies for current and future critical communications markets. The TCCA is planning for the future of broadband critical communications services, in particular through enhancement of the 3GPP ‘Long Term Evolution’ (LTE) standards to support features fundamentally required by critical users.
